Last time Ryan Cabrera dropped an album was back in 05' with "You Stand Wacthing". Since then Ryan has changed quite a bit in appearence and musically. Also switching to independent label Frolic Room Records/Papa Joe Records. The decision to switch to a new label was so that he could have complete creative control with his music. I think it's safe to say he may have been pushed to do radio friendly pop songs, and that just wasn't happening. As for the album I was pleasantly surprised of how much he has grown as an artist. It's an honest, emotional, high energy album that anyone can relate too. He's not in it for the popularity and fame but just a guy with his guitar doing what he loves.
