SEXY star Jennifer Lopez is tipped to take over as a judge on American Idol after Ellen DeGeneres quit. Talk show host Ellen, 52, who was drafted in to replace Paula Abdul, is leaving after just one series. She said the show was not right for her.Singer and actress J-Lo, is said to be keen to join American Idol.Ellen's fellow judge Kara DioGuardi is also set to leave, although Randy Jackson's job is said to be safe.Simon Cowell quit earlier this year to prepare for the launch of the US version of The X Factor.

Jennifer Lopez seems to be promoting everything but her music these days. Check out her latest ad for the launch of her 16th fragrance called ‘Love and Glamour’ which will be introduced in the fall of 2010. The perfume is set to hit Macy’s in October and in mid-November at other department stores. The bottle design is said to be “a modern expression of femininity as it represents a woman in an evening gown attending a glamorous red carpet event”. In the ad, the singer adopts the 1940s, golden age of Hollywood. It is also produced using Italian mandarin, guava and nectarine pulp; a heart of water lily, coconut orchid, jasmine petals and orange flower absolute. Along with that is a drydown of sandalwood, amber and sensual musk. J.Lo’s stronger marketing ventures has always been in the fragrance industry so I’m not surprised she’s releasing another perfume. I mean, this is perfume number SIXTEEN. Now that’s what’s up!

STUNNING JENNIFER LOPEZ’s four-year marriage to MARC ANTHONY is “on the rocks”, according to US reports. The singer — who gave birth to twins ten months ago — was spotted without her wedding ring at an LA movie premiere. Her Latin superstar husband Marc Anthony, 40 — also not wearing a wedding ring — fuelled the rumours further when he was seen chatting to women in New York and Las Vegas nightclubs. The singer reportedly moaned that 39-year-old J-Lo had been “making me miserable”. One source said the couple were now at “breaking point”, adding: “They are both getting bored. “She wanted this domestic life, but now she’s bored out of her mind. She wants the old J-Lo back.” It is also claimed J-Lo is struggling with Marc’s “controlling” ways, including keeping tabs on her phone calls. Magazine Us Weekly reports that the couple, who renewed their wedding vows in October, showed signs of strain during a Thanksgiving dinner with relatives in LA last month.
This week, however, they put on a display of unity while heading out together for dinner at Beverly Hills restaurant Luau. They tucked into meatballs and ribs, followed by coconut tiramisu and chocolate lava cake. Marc’s publicist denied their marriage was in trouble, saying: “They’re doing great.” J-Lo’s spokeswoman was unavailable for comment.
