After finishing highschool, he decided to move to Manila to follow his older brother’s footsteps; however, upon realizing that he has a lot more potential, he chose to explore the other aspects of the entertainment industry. He underwent an acting workshop with ABS-CBN for eight months afterwhich he was cast in a bit part in the Rufa Mae Quinto-led film, “Civil Status: Single” and a major role in “Magkaibigan” which had Sen. Jinggoy Estrada as its lead
