PRINCE William was out with girlfriend Kate Middleton last night but still has not had a shave. The bearded Prince took Kate to popular royal haunt London's Whisky Mist where they partied until the early hours of this morning. But while Kate was looking glamourous in a shimmering blue dress, Wills still had his shabby facial hair. And the beard may remain for a while longer as it was revealed today that the Prince's pals are placing bets on whether he will have it at Christmas — after daring him to keep it for the Royals’ official gathering. Wills, 26, is thought to have grown it as a disguise during a four-week Special Boat Service stint in the Caribbean last month. But to the surprise of his friends and Kate he refused to shave off the beard when he got home. He was pictured with it during a pheasant shoot last weekend.
Now mates have opened a book on whether he will have the courage to keep it for the family’s Christmas Day service at Sandringham. A pal said last night: “William likes the beard. But the Royal gathering will be live on television. He says he would like to keep it but we have bet he will shave it off long before then.” Ladbrokes is offering odds of 3/1 that Wills will be clean-shaven come December 25. A spokesman said: “The world’s eyes will be on Wills.”
